Importing a vehicle is only the beginning of the ownership journey. Looking after it requires businesses that combine technical expertise with genuine craftsmanship, professionalism and customer care.
Detailing, servicing, insurance, paint protection, transport, finance or specialist repairs, our goal is to help buyers discover businesses we'd feel confident recommending to our own community.
Rather than creating another online directory, we're building a carefully assessed network of specialists who have earned the trust and respect of the automotive community through the quality of their work and the way they look after their customers.
Buyers are never under any obligation to use a Trusted Partner. The choice is always theirs. Our role is simply to make finding exceptional specialists easier.
When will the Trusted Partner Network launch?
We're building it properly, not quickly.
The Trusted Partner Network will launch once we've carefully assessed a small number of outstanding businesses across our core service categories.
We won't recommend a business simply because it was the first to apply, nor will we launch a directory filled with empty categories.
Our aim is to create a network that genuinely adds value throughout the ownership journey, giving buyers confidence that every recommendation has been earned rather than purchased.

How do businesses join?

Trusted Partner membership isn't something businesses can simply apply for or buy. It begins with trust.
Most businesses first come to our attention through recommendations from customers or members of the wider automotive community. When we consistently hear the same business name from different people, we take notice.
From there, we spend time learning about the business itself. We look beyond the services it offers to understand its reputation, experience, quality of workmanship, customer care and the values that shape the way it operates.
Only when we believe a business reflects the standards of the JDM Direct Ireland Trusted Partner Network will we consider inviting it to take part in our assessment process.
Outstanding reputations are earned over many years. We believe our recommendations should be earned in exactly the same way.
Our Assessment Process
Every recommendation begins long before a business joins the network.
We don't believe exceptional businesses can be identified by a single application or a quick conversation. That's why every recommendation follows a structured assessment process designed to help us understand not only what a business does, but how it operates and why customers continue to recommend it.
Comminity Recommendations
Most businesses first come to our attention through recommendations from buyers, existing Trusted Partners or members of the wider automotive community. We're particularly interested when the same business is recommended independently by multiple people.
Independent Research
Once a business comes to our attention, we begin our own research. This includes reviewing its history, reputation, online presence, customer feedback and the consistency of its work across multiple platforms.
Business Assessment
Next, we take the time to understand the business itself. Rather than focusing solely on the services it offers, we look at the standards it upholds, its approach to customer care, professionalism, communication and the values that define the way it operates.
Invitation
If we believe a business reflects the standards of the Trusted Partner Network, we'll invite it to explore the opportunity and learn more about how the programme works. This is the beginning of a conversation, not the end of the assessment.
Trusted recommendation
Only after completing our assessment process will we consider recommending a business within the JDM Direct Ireland Trusted Partner Network. Every recommendation reflects our own reputation, which is why we're committed to taking the time to get it right.
A recommendation isn't something we give. It's something businesses earn.

Every business is assessed individually, and no single criterion determines whether a recommendation is made. Instead, we consider a broad range of factors to help us understand how a business operates, the standards it upholds and whether it reflects the values of the JDM Direct Ireland Trusted Partner Network.
Our assessment considers the overall picture rather than individual criteria in isolation. Every recommendation is based on professional judgement and the confidence we'd have in recommending that business to our own community.

As those buyers take delivery of their vehicles, they'll often need trusted specialists for detailing, servicing, insurance, paint protection, repairs, parts, performance upgrades and many other services.
Our Trusted Partner Network exists to help those owners find businesses we've carefully assessed and feel confident recommending. For our Partners, it's an opportunity to be recognised as part of a network built on trust, craftsmanship, professionalism and exceptional customer care.
This isn't about advertising to everyone. It's about earning the confidence of buyers who value quality and are looking for businesses they can rely on.

To preserve the integrity of the Trusted Partner Network, we intentionally limit the number of businesses within each category and location.
Our goal isn't to recommend as many businesses as possible. It's to ensure every recommendation continues to carry genuine meaning and value for the buyers who rely on it. As the network grows, some categories or regions may become fully represented, while others will remain open until we've found businesses that reflect the standards we're looking for.

Can any business become a Trusted Partner?
No. The Trusted Partner Network is intentionally selective. Most businesses first come to our attention through recommendations from buyers, members of the automotive community or our own research. We then take the time to learn more about the business before deciding whether to invite it into our assessment process.
Does becoming a Trusted Partner guarantee customer referrals?
No. We don't guarantee enquiries, referrals or sales. Recommendations are made only when they're genuinely relevant to a buyer's needs. Our focus is on connecting buyers with businesses we trust—not on generating artificial referrals.
How do you decide which businesses to recommend?
We look well beyond the services a business provides. Every recommendation is based on a careful assessment of factors such as reputation, customer experience, workmanship, professionalism, years in business and the values demonstrated in the way the business looks after its customers.
How many businesses are accepted in each category?
We intentionally keep the number of Trusted Partners limited within each category and location. Our aim isn't to build the largest network in Ireland, but one where every recommendation continues to carry genuine meaning and value.
Do you receive commission when a buyer chooses a Trusted Partner?
No. We don't charge referral fees or take commission from work carried out by Trusted Partners. Any commercial relationship is formed directly between the buyer and the business, without our involvement.
When will my business appear within the Trusted Partner Network?
Partner Profiles are published as categories are completed and businesses successfully progress through our assessment process. We'd rather take our time than publish recommendations before we're confident they're ready.
Is there a membership fee?
Yes. Trusted Partner membership is subject to a small annual fee, which helps support the creation and maintenance of your dedicated Partner Profile, the ongoing development of the Trusted Partner Network and the continued promotion of the platform.
The programme has been designed to remain accessible to independent businesses that share our values, while ensuring the network continues to develop to a consistently high standard.
